Built BAE Williamtown

Construction of new defence aircraft hangar facility 3000m2 in total area for BAE and ancillary building structures. Hangar consisting of building foundations, trenches and aircraft pavement slabs.

ATB Morton Star Group-Specialised Equipment Foundations

Construction of approx 10,000m2 surface area of specialised equipment foundations for aluminium extrusion plant. Extensive cast in rails and plates for specialised foundations.

RTC Sims Metals Kooragang

Construction of new heavy duty Dramix fibrecrete pavement slabs approx 12,000m2 overall for Sims Metals facility. Construction of 8000m2 light duty pavement slabs. JCC supply of all permanent materials within scope.

RTC Kurri Kurri Hunter Power Project

Construction of ancillary building structures consisting of new Workshop and Administration building. JCC supply of all permanent materials applicable to scope, engineering/project management in accordance with UGL’s requirements.

2022/2023

Symal Kurri Kurri Hunter Power Project

Construction of 2 x new Generator Turbine (GT) foundations for UGL/Snowy Hydro. JCC heavily involved in early contractor involvement regarding buildability and temporary works design for 3.5m thick GT pile cap structures. JCC design/development of temporary works structure capable of support the 4 x reinforcement layers and various intricate cast in items within structure. JCC successfully completed 2 x 1500m3 concrete pours for each GT structure along with suspended superstructure FRP components. JCC also responsible for construction of approx 30 x miscellaneous ancillary building structures within precinct.

Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure Cessnock WWTW, Hunter Water

Construction of water retaining SBR Bioreactor water retaining structure for Hunter Water -2700m2 of tank base surface area. JCC construction of base slab 2 x pours, followed by FRP components to 6m high walls throughout tank structure. Suspended concrete walkways throughout tank structure. JCC’s scope of works including concrete supply/test/place/finish, reinforcement fixing, formwork components, scaffolding access and associated craneage. Also included ancillary building structures attached to the project.

JCC UGL Kangy Angy Works

Construction of transformer bund base slab and walls 6 metres in overall height. Including specialised civil/hydraulic works within JCC’s scope. JCC supplied all permanent materials for the project applicable to their scope of works.

ATB Morton Tomago Works

JCC have been engaged by ATB Morton to carry out works within the Tomago Precinct. Initial works consisting of works to Energy Renaissance Lithium Project where JCC are carrying out concreting works to large surface areas for both building and civil areas. JCC have also been engaged to carry out various other concrete construction works through ATB Morton such as Advanciv Facility and SEW Project also requiring JCC’s sound ability to carry out works to large surface areas in accordance with requested project timeframes

Acciona Belford to Golden Highway Culverts

3 x culvert structures constructed for Stormwater Management in accordance with RMS B80 Concrete Specification. JCC Supply/Testing/Placement of concrete in accordance with RMS B80 specification. Vertical and horizontal suspended formwork to culverts. JCC also responsible for grouting in of precast culvert crown bases and sealing of all precast culvert joints

RTC SIMS Metal Gosford

Construction of 3500 m2 heavy duty hardstand areas to Sims Metals Facility and attached ancillary building structures. Supply of all permanent materials relevant to JCC’s works

Charterpac Sheffeild Project

Detailed excavations, Construction of 1000 m2 suspended formwork to Level 01 Office and Warehouse areas. Construction of super flat floor areas to warehouse through use of laserscreed works- 4600 m2 total. 3500 m2 civil pavement areasSupply of all permanent materials relevant to JCC’s works including specialised jointing within warehouse.

Richard Crookers Constructions Knights Centre of Excellence

Construction of 4000m2 building surface waffle pod slabs, Supply of all permanent materials related to JCC’s scope of works. Vertical and suspended formwork to Flood Refuge Structure within building

2020

Dungog Bioreactor

JCC have completed works at Dungog Waste Water Treatment plant. These works consisted of the main bioreactor structure along with several ancillary buildings required for the support infrastructure within the waste water treatment plant. The main bioreactor structure was poured in two separate with a 32m and 47m boom pumps being implemented to carry out the works. The total volume of Pour 1 was 140m3 and Pour 2 being 75m3.

Overall wall height was 5 metres and walls varying from 250mm to 400mm in overall thickness.

Kurri Kurri Clarifier

Works at Kurri Kurri consisting of construction of new clarifier structure (circular formwork structure) and other smaller ancillary buildings.
Structural Consultants originally had the clarifier structure (water retaining) as a series of pours with pour breaks throughout. JCC personnel saw the opportunity to pour the entire structure in one monolithic pour in order to achieve one uniform clarifier wall structure. The total volume within the wall pour was 75m3 of quality concrete.

Overall height of tank structure was 4.8 metres in height along with a circumference of 52 lineal metres
